I'm hoping a simple question for you! I was bankrupt in October 2008 and started making IPA payments in Jan 2009. The payments were quite high of £ 400 per month, and I continued paying until March/April 2010 when i was made redundant. The OR was happy to suspend my payments until I found work.
I have been working now since July 2010 and told the OR straight away. It took Moonbeever a while to contact me with a questionnaire but i sent it back straight away - this was probably a month ago. They replied saying that they would consult their client but I havnt heard anything yet.
My question is this - I understand that an IPA is for 3 years - so mine would be due to end Jan 2012 - but if there has been a break in the middle do they extend it by that length or is the end of the 3 years the end of it?
I'm wondering if they are taking their time telling me what i have to pay because my circumstances have changed since I was last paying and have a disposable income of just £100 or so a month - so my payment would be much reduced on what i was previously paying.
Many thanks
Craig
