Thanks for the info Richard, at present ive 20 years left on my mortgage, however it has no real value as its a "Boswell" (defected) house, but its my family home and dont want to lose it, at present i owe bank loans of over £30,000

Please could you provide a little more info
If you are declaring BR the security of your home will depend on amount of equity currently in the home or predicted in 2 years time
as you are currently working the OR will want to measure your income against expenditure, any money left may be used in an income payment order.
The OR will want proof of every debt, bank statements credit card statements going back at least 6 months.
If you are consisering declaring BR, I would encourage you to make a call to one of the experts, they can have all of the facts and offer guidance relevant to your circmstances. most of the experts on here have access to DMP, IVA, Bankruptcy full and final settlements
most experts offer first consultation for free
good luck Richard |
