Posted - 14 January 2011 : 14:31:18 Hi looking to go bankrupt! IPA payments - my income is made up of wages, tax credits, child benefit, DLA for my son as autistic and child maintenance. Also would they take my car which I paid £300 and use for work although I only work clse by but use it to be home in time for children from school

The child based elements of your benefits are unlikely to be taken into consideration as these are benefits for your children.
The car is not worth too much and you need it for work. It is likely to be exempt in your bankruptcy.
