What will happen to my pedigree cocker spaniel who is 2 years old, can theytake her awy, she is a pet not used for showing or anything like that. I have been told they could take her away |

Yes as said pets wont be taken only, dogs used in business for example breeding could be, even then the OR usualy just asks a family member to pay the value as they really dont want to be seen to take peoples animals away fromthem |

your pet is a pet (and part of the family) and you can claim an allowance for her pet food.
if your busines and reason for going BR was a dog business they may ask for some of the equipment
if you list her on your petition as a gold plated award winning crufts champion of champions then they will ask for her value.
BUT she is a pet and her value is to you and your family, enjoy her company she will be staying put.
