Could someone shed some light on this for me please. Currently my wife self employed in a training role, she travels to clients places of work and charges for her time. She bring in roughly £1400 a month, which is £200 less than our outgoings (I am retraining and family is helping with the shortfall)
This month the opportunity to earn about £500 extra has presented itself, how would this affect our situation re IPA as a "One off"?, we don't have an IPA presently and my wifes earnings fluctuate based on the work she can bring in monthly, so we have no set income amount. Is an average taken over the 6 months?.
Thanks, Mike.

did you both petition for bankruptcy ?
a bankrupt must inform the OR of changes in income and expenditure.
wiht self employed people the OR will take an average to work out IPA if appropriate
