Good Day,
I am having problems with question 2 (g) of the bankruptcy petition document where I am asked as to the name of the court where i am applying. I must apply at the high court in london since I have been residing outside of the uk for over 6 months, the last 6 months of which are in Russia. The question does not accommodate my response, I cannot apply at a county court so please can you advise me how to complete this question correctly so I do not throw £450 down the toilet next week.

Thanks

ps, the document i am using is from the link on this website (bankruptcyhelp.org)

You should put the High Court down if that is where you are petitioning.

Are you appearing yourself or have you appointed a Power of Attorney?

Unless you are getting a reduction because of benefits then the fees are more expensive than in a county court. Normal fees are £600.

Buckle your seat belt Dorothy, 'cos Kansas is going bye bye.

Can't you put the High court down?
