Posted - 22 February 2011 : 10:05:57 Hi, my husband has been offered a new job. When he puts his notice in to his current employer and leaves he will receive payment for the 5 weeks holiday entitlement. Will he have to pay this in to our bankruptcy? Many thanks |

Posted - 04 March 2011 : 20:25:33 Hi Bigal thanks for reply. We dont have an IPA as our outgoings more than income, OR is going to review our Income and expenditure again April, nothing will have changed, hope she puts us for ED. There will be a gap before my husband starts his new job anyway so we'll have to use the holiday pay towards our bills etc. Thanks |

Posted - 04 March 2011 : 14:37:32 Hi Tricer, The OR will probably allow your husband to keep a proportion of it(to help with living costs, unexpected car repair bills etc), with the remainder going into the bankruptcy estate. Is your husband paying into an IPA? and remember he will have to notify the OR of the change of circumstances
