Hi, on the outgoings section of the BR form, do I halve all houseold bills, council tax etc as I live with a partner? Also, because I live with him and will have to state his income, will that go against me? He cannot afford to help more than paying his half of the bills. Hope that all makes sense! |

Exactly as Melanie says, provide as much info as you can so the R can get the full picture
As to what expenses you can or cannot put down, i say put everything down, some may not be allowed but you dont get if you dont ask, so look though your bank statments and put every expense down |

hi mel can i put pocket money as my daughter is at full time collage and i help her out with driving lessons and give her alittle if she want to go out will i be able to put it down on my br many thanks |

Hi there
I usually recommend stating partners income in the appropriate box (other income into household) then list all the expenditure as it is without splitting the amounts. That way they can see the full picture, in the box on the outgoings page you will see where to list additional expenditure - make sure you put in there an amount for your partner to meet 'his' commitments so that all expenditure is accounted for, also remember things like hairdressing, optical, dental, laundry, pocket money if you have children etc all these sort of itms get listed in that box
