Just a bit of advice please: I have been seperated from my wife for two years now, however we have not begun divorce proceedings, and its not on the cards at this point, although there is no reconciliation. She will also be going BR shortly. Will this pose any problems for my BR.

Posted - 07 March 2011 : 16:24:10 Thanks for claifying that for me, its what I suspected. I think she is petitioning around the same time so this shouldnt be an issue.
Thanks again, to all contributers and experts; an amazing site that has made a very difficult period of my life much easier.

Posted - 07 March 2011 : 14:49:35 as home has been repossessed the outstanding money is now an unsecure debt
shortly after you or your partner petitions for BR the full amount of joint debt passes to other, the banks take about 3 months to chase other partner.
if you are still on talking terms best to coordinate your BR times may make it a little bit easier for both.
