I currently live in rented accommodation (been here for approx 6 mnths), prior to this I lived in a property owned by friends (they were abroad)I was not officially there (approx 24 mnths), prior to that another rent flat for 12 mnths. I don't really want to give the address of my friends property but it seems that I will have to. Can anyone tell me what the OR will do with this address.

The first test and the important one is that you have passed the centre of main interest (that is that you have lived in the court area for the majoirty of the past 6 months). you have .
If you have a gap in the address trail the OR will want to know what and why you are hiding information.
The addresses are used partly for your benefit as any debts associated with you or addresses can be included in BR. The OR also wants to check that you do not have assets associated with an address.

Im afraid there is no official address, you were either there or you weren't
