Posted - 10 March 2011 : 11:35:15 I just been made Bankrupt and have had my interview with the reciever. Based on my I&E submitted with my Bankruptcy which was based on my current circumstances (living on my own)he has suggested an IPA for £394 a month. Within the next few weeks I will be moving in with my partner and her 2 children so my circumsatnces and I&E will change. How do I calculate my new I&E. My income will account for apporox 70% of the household income, do I assume that I will be responsible for 70% of the outgoings (rent, gas, electric, food etc.) I would like to know how the I&E will be calculated before speaking to my reciever. |

Posted - 10 March 2011 : 15:29:52 As I explained in the first post I don't move in with my partner for a few weeks so not sure how much we will acually spend. There will be 2 adults, my partners 2 children all of the time and my 2 teenage children one day per week and every other week end. I have provisionaly put in £200 per week (£55 per adult, £30 per each of my partners children and £15 per each of my children). Does this seem reasonable? |

Posted - 10 March 2011 : 14:56:34 Thanks for that. Can anyone give me any guidance regarding housekeeping allowance (food etc). I'm looking for a guide figure for a family of 4 (2 adults, 2 children) per month. I am only looking for guidance as I don't want to put to much or to little in my I&E |
