Posted - 14 March 2011 : 21:15:58 Does a declaration of bankruptcy discharge all debts, ie. a loan? Also, I have a property on which there is £3,500 yet to pay before completion of the mortgage .... will I be expected to sell my house to realise the asset value for the creditors?

Do take some advice.
How much do you owe in unsecured debts?

if you have a house with lots of equity, please can i suggest getting expert advice. (column to left) The experts can give cross board advice on all options available

On the house, what is it worth and how many debts are secured on it (with values)
