In the guidance notes for fee remission, it states that housing benefit is excluded from gross annual income calculations. Does this apply when completing statement of affairs also?
Many thanks

Hi Biffy

The ex140 fee remission booklet is out of date adn uses terms that benefits agency have changed.

treat each form seperate (bankruptcy and fee remission)

When completing the forms put all income received into the household whether salary based or benefit based.

When the OR comes to look at your income & expenditure for 'Income Payments Order' assessment they will not include the benefit in the calaulations, but it is importnt to list them all on the forms
Hope this helps, Melanie
