Posted - 16 March 2011 : 15:34:28 Hi all
In general, how do you find out if you have been granted the ED?
Does it appear on the insolvency register first and then later a letter....or first a letter then later it appears on insolvency register...??

Posted - 17 March 2011 : 14:46:58 HI MW, It may take a while longer, as the number of staff that the IS has to deal with case admin, is declining daily due to redundancies, the office establishment where I was has dropped from 45 to 28(Examiners, AOR's and case clerks), so unfortunately these things will take longer, as ED has always been an administrative burden.
As for notification, you will receive a letter indicating that you have been discharged early, which will be after the register has been updated, so you can check it daily if neccessary!

Posted - 17 March 2011 : 13:57:25 Hi again Bigal
Reason why I asked about the ED and how this is announced is I seem to remember reading other posts where it seems like people are watching the insolvency register into the early hours of the morning.....or many weeks after being DC receiving a letter or some people dont seem to get any notification at all...?
Should I just check the insolvency reg every day...? |

Posted - 16 March 2011 : 16:30:51 Hi Bigal and thanks for replying
Ive had that letter from OR stating Ive been recomended for ED and had to do the I&E forms etc. These were sent off about 4-5 weeks ago and just wondered if the insolv register shows ED first or if a letter arrives next......wasnt sure how the register is updated/maintained.... |

Posted - 16 March 2011 : 16:10:46 Hi MW, the first you may have an indication of ED, is when you get a form called an IPOQ(income payments questionnaire)to complete well before the AD date, as of course these days you get one before AD as well. This would be included with a standard letter from the OR explaining why you're getting one, so it wouldn't appear on the register first!
