Posted - 30 March 2011 : 14:21:42 I have 3 children aged 4, 2 and 9 weeks the younger ones are both in nappies and the youngest has formula milk. They obviously need feeding and clothing so would the tax credits and family allowance be taken as payment of debt. I usually spent around £80 a week on shopping before I buy the nappies and milk or clothing for them. I get statutory maternity pay

Posted - 30 March 2011 : 21:48:17 Thanks for that information I hate the idea of my children missing out because I have debts it seems very unfair. I don't claim other state benefits I manage just about on the tax credit whilst I'm off work

when you declare BR the official receiver takes into account all of your expenditure.
you would not get an income payment order based purely on benefits
