Hi,
if you have £15 disposable income, there would be no IPA, but if you have £20 or more disposable income then ALL of it would be claimed in an IPA

yes thats right, although you do now get to keep £10 per person per month for emergencies, which you did not before

Sorry, Jan is right - if you have £20 or more disposable income all of it will be paid into the IPA.

Thanks Jan!

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 - it's over at last!

I thought that if you had over £20 then all of it was taken, not just that over the twenty?

Double, double toil and trouble;
Fire burn, and cauldron bubble.

If you have more than £20 per month disposable income you will be subject to an IPA, and all disposable income above this is now taken.
