Posted - 18 April 2011 : 16:10:06 Hi, I pay into a tesco pension its not worth much maybe few hundred but am waiting for details through the post. My question is will my pension be stopped while bankrupt and can it be taken off me? also if by the time i present my petition, will it matter if i havnt recieved details of pension through the post yet?

Posted - 19 April 2011 : 23:56:11 Hi Anna, your pension won't form part of the bankruptcy estate, as long as it is what's known as inland revenue approved, it won't be touched. The OR may write to the pension provider to confirm this, but it's nothing to worry about.
