Posted - 23 April 2011 : 07:07:37 I went bankrupt back in February 2009 and was discharged a year later. Having just checked my Experian credit report I see that my rating is 545 and 3 previous lenders pre bankruptcy are listed as 'in arrears'. I also voted last year but it says I am not on the electoral roll?
Please could anybody share their experience and advice. I would be extremely grateful.
I want to begin repairing my credit rating purely for peace of mind.
Many Thanks

You need to get in touch with those creditors and tell them to mark the accounts as satisfied. Your BR will remain on your record until 2015 though so you are unlikely to be able to get much in the way of credit before then.
Check the other two agencies as well, Call Credit and Equifax to see what their records say.
