Posted - 27 April 2011 : 18:13:25 I have been living in the uk since January however I still have a lot of debts over in Ireland ie. Mortgage of €330000 plus some small loans like overdraft and credit card , I bought my house with my brother in 2006 and the house is currently worth approximate €170000 which means we are in negative equity and I cannot afford to live and pay off all these debts, do I have any legal standing in declaring myself bankrupt over in the uk, I am working earning approximately £1100 per month, my brother is out of work swell and cannot meet the mortgage payments we are currently behind in our payments by about 4 months, I really appreciate any help or advice you can give me
