Hello, we are due to go bankrupt in July, and in sep i am due to get my redunancy money of two thousand pounds, i am with a company helping to go bankrupt and they have told me that if i get my redunancy money paid into another account with some one eles name, i would be able to keep it. is this true, i know its not a lot of money but if i dont get another job, i will need this to live on, be help |

That is dreadful advice! Which company has told you that you can do this?

I agree with Viki, that's appalling advice! I would suggest taking advice about your situation from one of the experts who posts on here.

What terrible advice!
Have you thought about putting the bankruptcy off until your redundancy has come through, then you can use some of it for your bankruptcy fees, ease the pressure a little.
