I am going to file for bankruptcy. Living in rented home. I have a holiday home in Spain with a mortage on it. Had the flat for sale in Spain for the last 2 years and it won't sell. What will the court do or say?

Hiya James.28

There is not much that can be done. Your flat is not selling. It is not up to the courts to intervene. All the District Judge will say, if you see him, which is unlikely, is that the flat in Spain becomes the property of the Official Receiver and therefore its disposal becomes his respoinsibility. You have tried your best.

All the best
