Hi Anna

I included £140pm for work expenses in my soa. This was questioned by the or but was accepted as i was able to prove it would be very difficult to carry on in my job without it.

IT is always worth asking. Hope it all works out for you

The answer as with virtually everything on your SOA is it depends on your circumstances. (thats why some people have been allowed an others not)

If i was the OR and asked why it was necessary for you to pay for work meals rather than simply making a packed lunch from your general food allowance what would you say?

I hope one of the experts can help Anna.]

I know with an IVA that you can claim for work meals but not sure about BR.

Hi Anna,

Not sure about this - something to take up with your OR if you are BR now.
