I have been discharged a couple of weeks (AD)Pay no IPA, no property, car etc do I still have to wait to wait for a letter of release? (i'm not talking about a discharge certificate or letter) I asume this would be with the OR as it was never passed to anyone else and have not heard anyhing since the OR's telephone interview

If you don't and you need something at a later date it's about £70 to get a copy from the court!

glafy - you won't get a letter, you will need to print off the copies as Rich has so that if you need them, they are there for you.

Hi all, just chipping in here to ask what a 'letter of release' is?
I know about checking the online insolvency reg' for notice of AD and printing a few copies off before it disappears from the system. But I wasn't aware that anything would ever come from the OR/Trustee!
Sorry if I'm a bit behind on this.
Great news re your AD RichS.

Hi Rich,

You won't get anything at all. What you should do now is check the Insolvency Register, it should state on there that you have been discharged. Print this off in case you need it at some point.

I should also have pointed out nobody other than the OR has dealt with my bankruptcy since day one, no trustee appointed etc to deal with assets etc (I Have none!!)
