Posted - 08 June 2011 : 23:04:54 i'm looking at bankruptcy i am frightened of lossing my car its worth about 1700 ish i don't work but the school is 3 miles away and my son is autistic he can walk but it takes twice as long as a non disabled child i get dla middle rate care
i get only benefits but they total 1865 per month for me and two children one of which is disabled will i have to pay money from my benefits and will my sons dla be taken into account ?

It is extrmely unlikely that you would lose the car due to its worth being under £2000. You also need the car to transport your autistic son to school. You would have very good case to put to the OR. You son's DLA is not taken into account when working out any disposable income which you may have,
