Posted - 25 June 2011 : 11:03:09 Hi
Our IVA has failed after 2 years and we received certificate of termination yesterday. My husband and I are currently saving the fees to go bankrupt. How long is it before we can expect to receive letters from our creditors requesting money. Only about a third voted at the meeting. Our main creditor didn't reply. Does interest start accruing on our debt? We have changed phone provider for a better deal so they won't know our landline number.
Thanks, Kirsty

So sorry to hear that your IVA has failed.
Your creditors can start contacting you again at any time but of course it will only be by letter so at least you won't have that hassle.
There is a good chance they will start charging interest and putting charges on again but I wouldn't worry as this will all be written off when you go BR so it doesn't matter how much they put on.
