Posted - 15 August 2011 : 18:42:42 I'm currently in just under £2000 worth of debt. I'm 8 months pregnant and only receiving income support. There is no way I can afford to pay off all the debt. Ive contacted them all on several occasions to try set up a payment plan but they won't allow me to pay less them £30 a month to them each which I can not afford as it's 3 different companies I'm in debt with. If you could please advise me on if bankruptcy is the best way for me or if there is anyone else that can help me pay them about £5 each a month. Kind regards Samantha

Other options are, an admin order, a debt management plan or a debt relief order,
I would contact one of the debt charities who should be able to guide you,
they are the CAB, National debtline or CCCS,
Do be carefull there are some fee charging companies that have similar names
