HI Lisa

subject to you being out of the country for less than 3 yrs, you can still declare BR in the UK and then make a fresh start in NSW

before Declaring Bankrupt some basic arrangements / discussions need to be had

you can either Declare yourself BR (fly back to UK ) or get a company to act on your behalf it is called a lasting power of attorney.

LPA's are a very slow process, the person acting on your behalf will then petition for your BR at the high court in London.

I think Mel (one of this forums EXPERTS) has had dealings with LPA

Good Luck Richard,

Hi and welcome.

How long have you been out of the country?

Follow through
Make your dreams come true
Don't give up the fight
You will be alright
'Cause there's no one like you in the universe
