Posted - 28 August 2011 : 15:49:38 Hi all, I went BR back in 2009 and was discharged in Jan 2010. My finance car was included in the bankruptcy but to date I have still had no contact from the finance company to arrange to take the car. I am now wondering exactly what the situation is regardig this as I have in effect been string the vehicle for them for over 2 yrs and tbh we need the space back.

write them a letter saying if they do not collect by 1 month down the road, you will take it they have no interest in the car and you have sold the vehicle to cover storage fee.
Copy your OR into the letter, although they may want funds from surplace after storage fee has been paid
they may have already written off the car, In which case smile.
