Posted - 31 August 2011 : 12:33:41 Currently residing in a house with negative equity, finical difficulties with high debt. Marriage broken down, spouse left marriage home. Filling for bankruptcy imminently. It is wise to leave the family home now to rent another property??? or wait until after the bankruptcy? Please help

I already have the deposit and the place i want to rent i was thinking more legal side, would it be better to stay in the family home till being bankrupt...... and would there be any legal side to be renting the property before the bankruptcy has gone through?

you need to save to get a deposit for you rental property it will be easier to do before bankrupt
