Posted - 01 September 2011 : 18:10:00 hi well we have deciced to go bankrupt so have in formed our iva and am stopping the mortagage payments and then asking for a voluntary reprocession and with saving having to save fees and deposit etc then we plan to put everything into motion in nov of this year, anyway we have been fortunate to secure a private rental poperty to start in nov but the worry is over the landlord being informed because i know they will not understand so what advice can you give as we would only been in the house for a couple of weeks before going bankrupt

Posted - 03 September 2011 : 11:44:58 sorry missed this one, it is a difficult one to answer, the only fact here is that the OR has the right to notify them if they want to.
You say you contacted the OR, was it the actual OR (which is fairly inlikely as there is only one per office and dont usually answer these sort of things them selves or just someone from their office

Posted - 03 September 2011 : 09:18:02 well seeing as nobody has replyed to my post i have managed to contact the local OR who was helpful and she said that unless there is something suspicious it is very unlikely that they would inform my landlord of our bankruptcy
