Sorry for all tonight's posts....
My company is moving 15 miles away from where they currently are. This will mean I have to drive 40 miles a day rather than 20 miles. The company are giving us a little car allowance based on 40p per mile which is for the additional new milage we have to do and wear and tear on the car. In my case, this is about £150 a month. The company have stated that this is NOT a salary increase and should not be seen as such. It is to cover the wear and tear on the car and the petrol to get to work. Would my OR see this as salary that they can take? It's not an income to spend on whatever I like, it really is for petrol. Thank you :))
