Posted - 23 September 2011 : 19:34:43 My wife left leaving me with no way to manage mortgage and debts. I have children one full time one 75% divorce going through. I managed to get through the mortgage rescue scheme but was in cleft stick Council said I would be vol .homeless if I didn't go with scheme and building soc insisted on mortgage shortfall deed there is 76000 outstanding to allow MRS to go through We were joint mortgagees but I am now sole ha tenant. I cannot afford to keep paying athe shortfall and dealing with other debts some 16000 but mortgage co say that they will still be owed the shortfall money and can attach earnings etc even if I manage to save enough up to go bankrupt. I cant cope with the strain of having to live with them grabbing every spare penny till I die. I have lost the money I putinto the house and everything else and am just struggling to manage the children. I feel I am working for nothing and will never be even as well off as someone unemployed.

I suggest you speak to an expert either on here, or at the CAB to discuss your situation and find a solution.
