I have a relative who has been made bankrupt. She has MS and is considering trying to get sponsorship to buy an electric buggy. The buggy costs £8,700. In order to pay for the buggy she is trying to get sponsorship by driving the buggy up Snowdon. Would she be allowed to keet the money to buy the buggy ?.She was declared bankrupt about 3-months ago.She has no income and is supported by benefits only.
Regards David
