Posted - 08 October 2011 : 15:08:09 Hi Paul,
Welcome to the forum.
Did you mean £4000 or £40,000? I presume as you were in an IVA then it's not £4000.
Either way, speak to an expert to chat through your situation. There will be a solution.

Posted - 08 October 2011 : 11:31:01 Hi Paul
your situation and story is not uncommon
if your debts are £4,000 a debt relief order may be appropriate via CAB.
you or an agent can negotiate on your behalf and get you on a minimum debt management plan, this will give you time to get your self straight and start saving money to clear the debt.
keep focused
Good Luck Richard,
