Any decent IP company would not take payment from a credit card anyway!!

I agree with Jan, you shouldn't be paying for advice on a credit card! The OR will take a very dim view of this and it could result in a BRU.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side.

No, you cannot pay for an IP or any expert advice on a credit csrd!!

You have to use your own money that you have saved up. The OR would not be impressed if you used credit to fund anything to do with BR!!

This is wholly unsolicited praise

A couple of years ago Viki Warbrooke helped me go through BK, she was very good and it took a great deal of pressure off having someone on your side and helping with the paperwork.

Do remember that employing an insolvency practioner is a legitimate expense so you can pay for it on a credit card or similar with no negative effect on your BK.

Hi Ruth,

Please feel free to post some more details on here about your situation and any questions you have.

I also advise you speak to an expert on here or visit the CAB for advice to see if bankruptcy is the best solution for you.

There should not be a problem because of your age - anyone can declare BR.

Is there any reason why you think this would cause problems?
