Posted - 07 January 2012 : 08:48:54 I'm not suggesting you use credit now you know you are going to declare bankruptcy, but if you already have the money, then use it for your bankruptcy fees, not to pay back your Dad. Don't use any more credit, especially for your deposit.

As am really struggling to pay for this anyway and we are also struggling to find somehere to live as the local council have not got any proirty poperty available to let us live in. We have seen a house that would except us but we can't raise the captial for deposit and would struggling to pay the rent and bills. Any suggestions as we are going to be homeless. Unfortunately, The Official Receiver will want the money back to distribute to all your creditors evenly, including your Dad, as you have preferred a creditor. With it being just a few days ago, they will pick up on this.
Can you get the money back from your Dad and perhaps save it for your bankruptcy fees?
