Posted - 30 January 2012 : 21:13:27 hi, wonder if you can help...i was declared bankrupt in april 2011 and received an ipa request in december. I disputed this as the figures the OR used were completely different from the ones i declared (no evidence was requested from OR). this was then refused by OR and another ipa form sent. In between times my landlord has increased my rent and my contents insurer has refused to re-insure due to bankruptcy. New insurer wants to double monthly payment (only one who will insure) i have sent documentation to OR and have heard nothing??? any ideas what will happen now? hope someone can help as paid subscription to an advisory service and they have been awful and no help whatsoever

Posted - 31 January 2012 : 20:08:00 Thanks for response. I have sent everything recorded delivery and confirmed with r mail that items have been signed for. The last time I telephoned the OR i was told in not so friendly terms that they could not discuss anything and that i had to put everything in writing, by which time i was reduced to tears, needless to say im a bit aprehensive about phoning. can anyone tell me the proceedure the OR will follow with the dispute of an ipa? and are they likely to persue an IPO when the amount is below £55 before my change in expenditure?

Posted - 31 January 2012 : 09:05:12 I would keep phoning and also send anything recorded delivery or even next day delivery so you know that the OR has received your paperwork.
The OR won't take anything you can't afford so all of your essential outgoings will be allowed.
