Posted - 12 April 2012 : 17:07:42 I think there is very little chance of the government paying interest on a loan that you take for home repairs (or any other loan for that matter). However grants may be available. I agreed with Jan, you should speak to your local CAB and see what help might be available

Unless you can get a grant towards it then I doubt it very much.
Have a word with your local cab. They should be able to advise whether you are entitled to anything.
