Posted - 14 April 2012 : 22:38:41 I live in WV and I filed bankruptcy while getting divorced. My Ex wife per the divorce creed was to assume the debt on a credit card. I listed the card to protect myself in case she didn't pay. It turns out she hadn't and now she is in contempt per the divorce creed on that matter and other issues. Does she legally have to pay the debt? Can I contact the card company so they can pursue their money?
