Posted - 28 April 2012 : 14:42:34 I have received a bailiffs notice to remove goods for non payment of community charge from 1988-89 !! I was at college for that period I have contacted Liverpool city council to advise this but they still send me bailiffs letters. What can I do ?

Unfortunately, even though you were at college you will still be liable for council tax if you have a residence elsewhere.
Pop down to your local CAB, they may be able to help you.
