As Viki has already mentioned, rent should not be a problem as long as it is not extortionately high for the area. When I declared bankruptcy I was paying just under £300 per month, but lived on a council estate in a not very nice area. After the one year bankruptcy finished I was still in an IPA for another 2 years but I had to move as I couldn't stay in my current flat any longer, so I explained this to Moonbeever and the RTLU and they accepted my request to pay a higer rent (which increased to £400 per month) without any problem. There may have been an issue if I had increased the rent to a much higher amount of say £1000, but if it is a reasonable amount then I shouldn't imagine it being a problem. Of course you would need to supply Moonbeever with proof of rent by sending them a copy of the lease agreement.

There is no set limit, as long as it's reasonable for the area and your families needs.
Everyone's expenditure and family size and needs are different and this is taken into consideration.
