Hi Cheryldfrost,

Welcome to the forum.

Please can you post a few more details about the direct debit you have cancelled so we can advise you.

Alternatively, if you don't want to post again, then please feel free to contact an expert.

I'll remember the way that my first post was responded to then!

All I have done in every reply has been to give a personal view, of what has happened to me recently going through bankruptcy.

How many people are on here giving their recent testimonials??

I'd like to say practice what is preached, although I fear my membership will be somehow deleted.

Do I need so many posts before what I say can be accepted?

All I said was tongue in cheek.

I HAVE APOLOGISED!
I doubt I scared anyone off. If you really think I have, email their registered email and apologise on my behalf. That was not my intention to stop them talking, to the contrary actually.

Year 2029 please remember the ethos of the forum - respect for all.

While a tongue in cheek post might be acceptable to someone who posts regularly it's not really acceptable to a new poster.

As Niobe says it often takes a lot of courage for someone to post and we all need to remember that.

Only when the last tree has died, the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realise that we cannot eat money.

Last IPA payment made on 28th June 2010 and I'm now looking forward to getting married in September 2012 - I'm proof that you can go BR and come out the other side.

Well, we'll have to wait for more info from cheryldfrost.

I doubt I've frightened them away, and I'm sure they're laughing at the comments going on at the moment.

Lets now leave this thread open for them to come back with more info.

Niobe Posted - 24 May 2012 : 19:16:04
That's not always the case as I have found on other forums and some posters have become upset.

Once we know how the poster thinks then funny comments are fine.

I would like to think that the first time that someone posts, if they are that nervous, that they may have read some earlier posts, and maybe realised that they may need to give considerably more information.

If the OP is reading this, it was meant tongue in cheek, and wanting more information, so that others could respond.

I'll give an even bigger smiley this time!

Niobe Posted - 24 May 2012 : 19:08:34
Sorry but when someone posts for the first time on here it may have taken some courage to do so and they may not appreciate such a comment - they might not even find it funny.

We will just ask for further information initially so the poster does not feel that they are going to be subject to any tongue in cheek remarks.

What????????????

So you cant make tongue in cheek remark??

I have done nothing but recount recent personal experiences on here over the last few days for others to gleem information from.

I ahve also felt like I have been shot down in flames myself....but have still perservered, and will continue to do so.
Niobe Posted - 24 May 2012 : 18:22:49
year 2029 - please don't make such comments, particularly to a new poster.

We would like them to come back and explain rather than possibly be frightened off.

Is this a bankruptcy help forum, or a clairvoyancy?
Niobe Posted - 24 May 2012 : 16:11:55
Hi and welcome.

What is the direct debit for - can you give some more information please?
