Posted - 13 June 2012 : 09:07:42 I received a letter from a bailiff. I cannot not afford the minimum payment and told them I could only afford £20 and they have advised they will only only accept the full £40. As I am unemployed I cannot afford this.

Scare tactics. You cannot pay what you cannot afford. Any judge will see that. I am sure someone will advise you who knows more but if it was me i'd say take the £20 or take me to court. It's not worth their time or money for the latter I don't think.
If you went to court and was allowed to pay £1 a week they would regret it. Even the CSA can only get £5 a week from you if unemployed.
