Posted - 23 June 2012 : 13:48:59 Am I allowed car insruance on a monthly plan if the total amount is under £500? am I right in thinking It can be over aslong as the lender knows I am BR? Or is all forms of credit out?
I managed to keep my car and buy the OR's interest. Now I need to get it back on the road but my insurance seems to have doubled to what it was 4 months ago before BR. |

Posted - 01 August 2012 : 17:55:46 Thanks I will sure look into that. Right now I am enjoying getting about for nothing but I feel like I take the mickey some days even though I dont
Went to the job centre today. Nothing I can do as I can't drive, sit for long periods, stand for long periods, Use machinery (as my left arm also gives out a few times a week - which is how my problems started and I crashed whilst it happened) and with no skills either
I am screwed :/ |

Posted - 31 July 2012 : 17:07:39 Theres various things that are supposed to ease it along with the medication.
Unfortunately its a bit age related too :-(
Exercise is supposed to be good, and I know a few people who've benefited from Tai Chi with different neck problems.

Posted - 29 July 2012 : 19:22:08 Thanks. And it is. Luckily I can still get to where I need to go (or would want to go right now) so it could be worse. |

Posted - 29 July 2012 : 17:45:27 I've also got Osteophyte in my lower neck and top of my spine so for that reason alone I am dangerous to drive. I didn't know until a few weeks ago about it. It can only be pain managed I am told, the risk to operate is high.
So even if my eyesight came back tomorrow I still have that to deal with.

Posted - 29 July 2012 : 03:15:48 Hello,
Sorry Ive been trying to get on this site for days. For me it's really fast until I log in and then it takes 7-8 minutes to change the page!
everything else is fine. I get the same result on several connections.
I wasn't sure if the OR could reverse their decision to sell my car but I assume they wont because it's been paid for now. At the time I was not sure if I was going to return to work or not.
Basically a week after this all happened the DVLA revoked my driving licence due to my eyesight. So now I definitely won't be returning to that job.
Swapping your keys for a Disabled bus pass - very scary!

Posted - 19 July 2012 : 00:11:12 Hi pcoventry I'm glad you got your car back.
Maybe one day you can feel you can post your circumstances, but I understand if you can't right now.
I had various vehicles in BR, and slightly complicated, but was glad to have some returned.
Keep your chin up.

Posted - 24 June 2012 : 16:57:50 Well that's a personal decision.
I don't go around shouting about mine.
If I'm required by law to declare it, or think its in my best interest, then I do.
I doubt people declare openly lots of things they're supposed to, but keeping within the law is the main thing.
