Hi, i havnt earned enough to pay tax but if i did would it have shown on my payslip how much i owed as normal and or some paperwork from the OR asking about the tax? My tax code is still NT an my discharge is midnight tonight. I thought id just wait until discharge and contact hrmc to put it right. My payslips show tax as zero but i just thought id check because of my nil code. Thanks Anna

Thank you all for your help and support over the last year or so, i am now discharged as of today :) I also rang up hmrc to reset my tax code. Thanks Anna

NT is a nil tax IPA. No tax is deducted from your salary for that tax year but you have to pay it across to the OR.

WHat is the NT for anyway? I am no longer employed but when I was I had it

Let us know how you get on Anna - good luck!!

Ascend may you find no resistance
Know that you made such a difference
All you leave behind will live to the end
The cycle of suffering goes on
But memories of you stay strong
Someday I too will fly and find you again

Thanks. im going to call them tomorrow

If it has been a full year since your bankruptcy then you should not be on a NT code anymore and you should contact HMRC to make sure you get put on the correct code

Hi Anna,

If you earn enough to pay tax then it will show on your payslip.

If you have no IPA in place by tonight then you will be fine.

Ascend may you find no resistance
Know that you made such a difference
All you leave behind will live to the end
The cycle of suffering goes on
But memories of you stay strong
Someday I too will fly and find you again
