hi me and my husband have been bankrupt since 23rd march 2012 and we were not given a payment order , anyway i only had a letter to say that the trustees had finished my case , followed by my husband getting another expenditure form which shows no change, so could we be offered early discharge ?

Once you are discharged, make sure you print off a copy of this from the Insolvency Service website just in case you need it in the future.

Just keep checking.

check the insolvency web site

that is normally the only time you know that you have been discharged early.

if you are looking and thinking I should be discharged early. consider it a bonus not a right.

different areas in UK treat ED different, some areas will not give ED. some appear very eager to close the file.

The quickest I have known, is after the interview the exmainer stating I will not object to ED, it then took four months from court date to be finalised.... very very rare.

Good Luck Richard,

As Niobe has said, there is no way of knowing until you are discharge!

I don't think so. You just have to wait for the OR to tell you that you are being dis charged early otherwise it will just run until the 12 months is up.
