Hi. Im self-employed.

Because of cash flow I own 17 K of self assesment tax and 13 K of VAT. Customers own me about 15 K..This tax is for 2011.I made a payment of 1 k on july and small payments august september.

Im wondering if or when HMRC take an action against me. I dont have any assets. My personal debt is about 10 K but managed quiet well.

Im thinking about volountary bankruptcy.I dont know .cant sleep. Money comming slow..and i have to act fast. HMRC dont agree anymore for time to pay.

Hi bobi, welcome to the forum.

Bankruptcy may be an option for you, they may not take action against you anytime soon though.
