I was made bankrupt by a creditor for a sum of approx £26k plus costs of Trustees etc, the Trustees have already sold my house for sum of £140k and are requesting an Income payment Agreement figure of £1200 per month, Trustees had based this on figures from the Official Receiver using a family income list that did not include sums of approx £500 for car finance for the wife's & my car, both need vehicles to get to work, and me to do my job The mortage at the time was approx £300 but we are now paying £750 rent.
The figure was supposed to be agreed? but the sum of £1200 now seems excessive, is there a way to challange the Trustees, they have the funds from the sale of the property And the sum requested will cause hardship to me and the wife who has already seen a reduction in her wages through her employers action to cut council costs, and further cuts are forcast

Hi Phillip,

Request a new income and expenditure sheet from the OR so they can assess the payments. If you don't agree with the figure, you can ask the OR to refer it to a judge.
