Posted - 12 December 2012 : 14:08:54 I'm a French national who has lived in the uk for 20 years. I have no assets, lost my employment and now wish to return to live in France. I have about 25k of uk debt.
1. Can someone else file my bankruptcy on my behalf? 2. I assume this is the cleanest way for me to leave my debts?

1. yes, but it will cost you and you can do it yourself before you return to France.
2. Possibly, but you would need to speak to an expert for debt advice and see what options are available.
