hi ,I went BR over 3 yrs ago and was discharged after 10mths. I have recently been contacted by capquest saying they bought a debt of mine in 2007 and I was not told this at the time and this is the firt contact I have ever had from them. I now think this debt may have been forgotten and left off my petition. Does this mean I still owe them and would need to go Br again to clear it? many thanks in advance

If the debt was before your bankruptcy date, then it doesn't matter that you missed it off, it will still be included. But if you do think that you did miss it, I suggest you phone your Official Receiver and give them the details.

You are not liable for it, don't worry.

Hi Viki and many thanks for your reply, can I ask am I still ok and clear of debt if I left this one off my petition as I have a feeling I did as I truly thought I had cleared this debt at my old address and have not heard from them for many many years so i'm sure I didn't include them on my petition. Many thanks again

Don't worry Lottie, it will be included in your bankruptcy. If they try to chase you for the debt then just give them your bankruptcy details.
